A leader in cutting-edge research and technology in the cyber arena, CPMG focuses on using business drivers to guide cybersecurity activities and manage risk. CPMG offers flexible, integrative solutions for Department of Defense (DoD) contractors, among others, and specializes in cybersecurity, information and operational technology, electronic security surveillance, and support services.

Summary:

The Senior Computer Network Architect will analyze clientโ€™s needs and recommends appropriate security for systems and network configurations to meet the clientโ€™s needs and standards.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Manage, support, and maintain B-2 Local Area Networks (LAN) comprised of network equipment located at Tinker AFB.
  • Manage, support, and maintain B-2 Wide Area Networks (WANs) comprised of network equipment, long haul circuits, and encryption equipment which extend beyond Tinker AFB and provide connectivity for the enterprise.
  • Utilize infrastructure management software to provide situational awareness, network impact analysis, and service-level management, identify network assets, and generate network topology maps of LAN and WAN network elements down to their physical and logical ports.
  • Manage, support and maintain firewalls and boundary LAN/WAN routers.
  • Provide proficient customer support using infrastructure management software, network protocol analyzers, and SNMP Network Management Software to properly analyze network traffic.
  • Initiate, implement, and maintain network documentation in Microsoft Visio, Excel and Word software. Create and maintain network documentation and information consisting of but not limited to network drawings, vendor info (firmware, procedures, etc.), meeting minutes, and action items.
  • Lead the networking subgroup of the Cyber Security Working Group (CSWG) and participate in regular meetings with privileged user base.
  • Perform system administration and auditing support for Windows based systems under network operations span of control (ex: facility Access Control Systems (ACS), facility Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), Emergency Public Address (PA), etc.). Manage, support, administer, and maintain anti-virus software suites as needed to support those systems. The Contractor shall work with the B-2 Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) and Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to identify and resolve any computer and information system security issues.
  • Perform cable plant design, modification, additions, and repairs that include Cat-5, single-mode and multi-mode fiber on local networks. Work with the prime contractor, Northrop-Grumman, their sub-contractors and the Defense Information Systems agency (DISA) to provide design and implementation support for the B-2 Enterprise.
  • Manage, support, and maintain the B-2 access control and intrusion systems. The B-2 SPO will require the Contractor to have SCI access to manage Intrusion Detection System covering SCIF space.
  • Manage, support, and maintain Scala digital signage software platform.
  • Provide Video Teleconferencing (VTC) support for classified operations, which may include, but are not limited to DISA supported Global Video Services (GVS) (IP)-based video teleconferencing service and the Air Force Special Enclave Video Enterprise Network (AFSEVEN) or (AF7). Support will be at Tinker AFB and may be at remote locations throughout the Enterprise. A network engineer will require future access to SCI in order to maintain the VTC within a SCIF.
  • Provide Communication Security (COMSEC) support for the B-2 Enterprise. This includes configuration, management and accountability of General Dynamics encryptors (ex: KG-175D/F), General Dynamics Sectรฉra vIPer phones and applicable key material. Coordinate with Base COMSEC for current/future key materials, semi-annual inspections and updates or replacement of defective devices.
  • Create and update Emergency Action Plans (EAP's) for vIPer's and controlled areas. Brief personnel on access list of requirements and perform/document semi-annual exercises covering EAP's.
  • Provide Telephone Control Officer (TCO) Support. This includes configuration, management and accountability of Voice Over IP Phones (VoIP's).
  • The Contractor shall deliver a status report monthly.
  • The Contractor shall be required to travel periodically to B-2 enterprise locations as part of this contract. Locations include, but are not limited to, Whiteman AFB, MO; Palmdale, CA; San Diego, CA; El Segundo, CA; Livermore, CA; Colorado Springs, CO; Edwards AFB, CA; Hill AFB, UT; Wright-Patterson AFB, OH; Eglin AFB, FL; Owego, NY; Binghampton, NY; Melbourne, FL; and Barksdale AFB, LA.

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Must have verifiable expertise in the products utilized in the WSSC networks, data systems, VTC operations, and COMSEC and are familiar with the Air Force Instructions and JSIG-series regulations or equivalent.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Shall hold professional and approved U.S. Department of War Directive 8140.01 certifications related to information security as required and appropriate per the duty position (ex. CompTIA Security+).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience.
  • Must have a TOP SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field.
