We are looking for an Intern - Process Automation Developer to join our Operational Center of Excellence team who will help to develop creative automated solutions that will save manual hours, improve the customer experience, reduce risk, and improve overall process quality and accuracy. Our team utilizes a variety of automation tools, including UiPath, Microsoft Power Automate, IBM BAW/BPM, Symantec Workflow, and VBA (Visual Basic Automation). Our team works with various teams and lines of business across the Bancorp to make a positive difference at our company.
A Day in the Life of an Intern-Process Automation Developer
  • Be paired with a knowledgeable mentor who can provide guidance and assignments, allowing you to exercise and grow your skillset with UiPath and/or Microsoft Power Automate tools.
  • Work with business, technology, and operations partners to assist with the design, development, and implementation of robotics process automation solutions that drive cost efficiencies and enhanced productivity.
  • Work closely with the business and your technical mentor to understand the needs, vision, and requirements for the process.
  • Use industry leading software to design and build creative solutions to address business problems and/or replace time-consuming manual processes.
  • Test project code to ensure it performs as per business requirements.

Education, Skills, and Experience
  • Experience with UiPath (-or other RPA development tools) or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Experience utilizing generative AI tools, including Google Gemini, Microsoft Copilot, and similar AI platforms.
  • Experience with programming and scripting languages.
  • Basic understanding of system process design
  • Great interpersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to solve problems collaboratively and build strong relationships.
  • Team player, flexible, and committed to quality processes and outcomes.
  • Solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, information technology, or another related field.
