A Senior Software Engineer designs, builds, and maintains modern, scalable applications that support business operations end to end. This role partners closely with business stakeholders and product owners to translate requirements into high-quality, full-stack solutions using Microsoft and cloud-based technologies.


This individual leads development across web, mobile, and API-driven applications, ensures secure and well-integrated systems, and upholds strong engineering standards. They also provide technical leadership by mentoring junior team members, guiding architectural and security decisions, and troubleshooting complex issues across environments to deliver reliable solutions on time.


Responsibilities

  • Develop features and enhancements for both new and existing applications using the established technology stack, supporting projects from initial requirements through deployment within budget and timeline constraints across cloud, on-premises, and hybrid environments
  • Maintain and support existing applications by prioritizing and resolving issues through service requests, ensuring timely resolution based on business impact and priority
  • Modernize legacy applications by migrating them to current technologies using established application transformation processes and standards
  • Communicate and coordinate project status, timelines, and effort with cross-functional stakeholders including Scrum Masters, Project Managers, Engineering leadership, product owners, and business partners through Agile ceremonies and other channels
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across all environments, including development, QA, and production
  • Ensure code quality by adhering to established coding standards and secure development practices; conduct code reviews, manage pull requests, and oversee merges and releases through CI/CD pipelines
  • Identify, assess, and remediate security vulnerabilities across applications in alignment with organizational security standards
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, IT partners, and business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and deliver scalable, strategic solutions aligned with enterprise architecture and security requirements
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and interns across application architecture, repositories, environment setup, troubleshooting, and design best practices


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) required
  • 6+ years of experience developing web-based and mobile applications within the Microsoft technology stack required
  • 6+ years of experience with modern programming languages and frameworks, including C#, .NET, Web APIs, and front-end technologies such as React, Angular, HTML5, CSS, etc. required
  • 2+ years of experience working with cloud and platform services such as Azure (including application hosting, identity, monitoring, and configuration services), modern data platforms, and containerization technologies required
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum or Kanban, required
  • 2+ years of experience using developer productivity and code quality tools (e.g., AI-assisted coding tools, static code analysis, and security scanning tools) required
  • 4+ years of experience designing, building, and automating CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and release management required
