10% domestic travel required
Job Description
Support and maintain secure Windows and Linux server environments, network infrastructure, and laboratory systems. Develop network architectures, manage system administration activities, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity and government security requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and support network architectures between embedded and host PC systems.
  • Administer and maintain Windows and RHEL 9 server environments.
  • Support containerized applications and infrastructure.
  • Manage Active Directory, file servers, user accounts, and access controls.
  • Perform system patching, antivirus updates, backups, and routine maintenance.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and user issues.
  • Maintain compliance with RMF, NISPOM, and cybersecurity requirements.
  • Manage lab access controls and facility documentation.
  • Support system security and operational readiness.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or related technical field.
  • 2+ years of systems administration, networking, or IT infrastructure experience.
  • Experience supporting Windows and Linux environments.
  • One of the following certifications: Security+, SSCP, CISSP, GSEC, or SCNP.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Network+ certification.
  • A+ certification.
  • Linux+ certification.
  • Experience with containerization technologies.
  • Experience supporting secure government or defense environments.

Education
Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
