<> Lead Network Engineer Enterprise Architecture & Design Overview

We are seeking a Lead Network Engineer to join our Network Design & Engineering team. This role serves as a senior technical leader responsible for designing, validating, and delivering secure, scalable, and highly available enterprise network solutions.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Aruba CX switching, enterprise routing and switching, software-defined networking (SDx), and modern network architecture. This individual will lead complex infrastructure initiatives from design through implementation while partnering with security, cloud, infrastructure, and operations teams to ensure solutions are production-ready and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of enterprise network infrastructure solutions.
  • Design, test, document, and implement complex network solutions with a focus on scalability, resiliency, and security.
  • Provide technical leadership for network modernization, upgrades, and expansion initiatives.
  • Architect solutions leveraging Aruba CX, Cisco (Viptela, Meraki), Palo Alto, and InfoBlox technologies.
  • Design and support enterprise LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, wireless, firewall, and VPN environments.
  • Develop scalable routing and switching architectures utilizing technologies such as BGP, OSPF, EVPN, and VXLAN.
  • Drive adoption of SDx principles, automation, and network standardization.
  • Identify technical risks and provide engineering-led mitigation strategies.
  • Serve as a senior escalation resource for complex network issues and critical incidents.
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering standards and best practices.
Qualifications
  • 10+ years of enterprise network engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with Aruba CX switching and large-scale enterprise network design.
  • Deep expertise in routing, switching, WAN, wireless, security, and data center networking.
  • Proven experience leading complex network architecture and delivery initiatives.
  • Hands-on experience with SD-WAN, automation, scripting, or infrastructure-as-code technologies.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform networking concepts.
  • Strong understanding of network design documentation, change management, and operational readiness.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in healthcare, distribution, or large enterprise environments.
  • Aruba, Cisco, or equivalent advanced networking certifications.
  • Experience supporting highly available, mission-critical environments.
Education

Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
