Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Center Technician 2 to join our dynamic team in St. Paul, MN. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining the integrity and performance of our data center operations. # Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain data center equipment, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on servers, networking equipment, and other critical infrastructure.

  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, escalating complex problems as necessary.

  • Assist with the installation and configuration of new hardware and software systems.

  • Document all maintenance and repair activities in accordance with company policies.

  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance data center efficiency.

  • Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergency situations as required.

    Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a data center or IT support role.

  • Strong understanding of server hardware, networking concepts, and data center operations.

  • Familiarity with monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.
