Job description

Responsibilities: * Support updates to system architecture artifacts and technical manuals. * Maintain the organizationโ€™s hardware drawings representing all deployment systems. * Support procurement of hardware, software, and licenses for development and operational usage across the enterprise. * Participate in the planning, direction and coordination of all program system engineering efforts. * Maintain and expand knowledge of current and developing technologies, including newer hardware and networking infrastructure models and capabilities. * Support system design reviews and the software development lifecycle. * Provide input on design improvements to cyber tools software or hardware for the network * Support resolution of all open program problem reports (PPRs) associated with system architecture artifacts and hardware drawings. Requirements * Bachelorโ€™s degree with a focus in systems engineering, computer science, computer engineering, or a related discipline with corresponding experience and demonstrated mastery of relevant topics. * 10-12 years of related, proven experience performing similar duties. * Proven experience with creation and management of hardware drawings to specify facility hardware and HVAC requirements, server room layouts, rack elevation diagrams, and wiring diagrams. * Experience with system-level architectural design of software, hardware, and networked systems. * Experience with model-based systems engineering and usage of modeling standards such as SYSML, UML, etc. to represent views of hardware and software systems. * Experience developing and maintaining system and software installation documentation. * Experience working government programs with controlled engineering baselines. * Intermediate level knowledge of computer networking and IT Service Management best practices. * Demonstrated ability to work within teams. * Strong organizational skills.
