Job description

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mechanical CAD Designer to support a federal partner advancing national security research and high-energy physics technologies. This position is onsite in Albuquerque, NM. This is a direct-hire opportunity supporting a national leader in pulsed power systems, advanced radiography, fusion technologies, and high-energy density physics research. The Mechanical CAD Designer will develop detailed 3D models and engineering documentation for next-generation pulsed power machines and accelerator systems. This role partners closely with engineers, scientists, manufacturing teams, and suppliers to support the design, fabrication, and configuration management of advanced mechanical systems.
