We are currently seeking a customer-centric and reliableย Inside Sales Associateย to join the Pacific Plumbing Supply team inย our Anchorage location!ย Join us in the wholesale plumbing supply distribution business! What you will do:

  • Maintain a professional demeanor at all times, epitomize the Company's Core Values and follow all company policies and procedures.
  • Develop and maintain great working relationships with customers, vendors and employees.
  • Ensure professional, accurateย and timely communication by phone, over emailย and in person with wholesale customers to assist them with their plumbing supply purchases.
  • Ensure all required paperwork is accurately completed; including coding, costing and pricing. Ensure strict observance with all administrative, accounting and credit related procedures.
  • Monitor customer service levels in Will Call area ensuring that we minimize phone calls left on holdย and wait time for will call customers.
  • Communicate with branch manager and purchasing department of any product shortages or outages.
  • Pull customer will call orders from warehouse shelves as necessary. Help to maintain a neat and clean warehouse by performing general housekeeping duties as required.
  • Exercise safety at all times.
  • Maintain neat, clean and professional appearance.
  • Work with all department staff to ensure all deadlines are met and workloads are equitable.

Who we are looking for:

  • One to three years of sales experience preferred.
  • Prior knowledge of plumbing products and supplies is a must.
  • Professional and upbeat demeanor with excellent customer service skills, including exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity using a multi-line telephone system, good working knowledge of MS Suite and a general understanding of working within a computer network.
  • Ability to handle cash and credit transactions accurately.
  • Ability to be responsive to customer needs and follow through on sales and other items in your area of responsibility.
  • Effective organization and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently and well as while being part of a GREAT TEAM!
  • Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines.
  • Must be able to work with a wide variety of people with different personalities and backgrounds.
  • Must be able to operate in a drug-free workplace.
