Job description

What you will do?

As the Network Administrator you will be responsible for computer data systems management, including system support; for operations of the enterprise’s computer network; for user training and support; and for coordinating the resolution of computer network and connectivity issues with external vendors.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Implements data systems policies and procedures per enterprise guidelines and regulatory standards.
  • Assures timely assistance in resolution of data system hardware, software and peripheral issues.
  • Assures preventative maintenance of the system hardware and software.
  • Complete Helpdesk Tickets, generally around password help and software support.
  • Oversees the operational security of the electronic systems, including virus alerts and user activity.
  • Maintains the computer back-up system.

What you need:

A high school diploma or GED is required for this position.  A minimum of four (4) years of computer experience and demonstrated competency in computer hardware and software use is required.   CompTIA A+ Certification a requirement (must obtain within 6 months of hire).   Additional requirements include:

  • Strong organizational and problem solving abilities
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to strict confidentiality at all times
