I amp;M Machine and Fabrication Corp is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable IT Technician to support our technology systems, data management, and end-user support needs. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical skills, particularly in SQL and Microsoft Excel, who enjoys troubleshooting problems and helping users work more efficiently.

Position Summary
The IT Technician will provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues while assisting with database management, reporting, and process improvements. This role will be working closely with various departments to ensure systems are operating efficiently and data is accurate and accessible.
Duties amp; Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support for computers, printers, software applications, and network devices
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues
  • Write, modify, and maintain SQL queries and reports
  • Assist with database maintenance and data validation
  • Create, maintain, and improve Excel spreadsheets, reports, and dashboards
  • Support ERP, payroll, and business management software systems
  • Assist with user account setup, permissions, and password resets
  • Install and configure computer hardware and software
  • Maintain documentation for IT systems and procedures
  • Assist with technology-related projects and process improvements
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed
  • Perform routine system maintenance and updates
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Equivalent work experience will be considered
  • Proficiency in SQL including writing queries, joins, and data analysis
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Experience troubleshooting Windows-based systems
  • Basic understanding of networking concepts and hardware
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ERP or manufacturing software systems
