We are Para la Naturaleza, a nonprofit environmental organization based in Puerto Rico, and we are looking for a technology-driven professional to join our growing Project Management Office (PMO).

Our Project Management Information Systems (PMIS) Specialist plays a key role in transforming project data into actionable insights that support strategic decision-making across the organization. This position is responsible for optimizing project management technologies, improving business processes, developing dashboards and reports, and ensuring the integrity of project information that drives our conservation mission.

Seeking candidates for our Project Management Office (PMO) in Old San Juan. We have one (1) full-time regular position available. This is a hybrid position (office and remote work).

What You'll Do

  • Administer and continuously improve our Project Management Information System (PMIS), including Smartsheet and related project management platforms.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, executive reports, KPIs, and project performance metrics that support decision-making related to the organization's program and project portfolio.
  • Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance improvements.
  • Develop and optimize workflows, templates, automations, and business processes that improve project execution.
  • Ensure the quality, integrity, and governance of project portfolio data.
  • Support cross-functional teams through user training, technical guidance, and adoption of PMIS tools.f
  • Collaborate with Information Systems and project stakeholders to implement technologies and improve system integrations.
  • Contribute to the continuous development and maturity of the organization's Project Management Office (PMO).

We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
    • Project Management Information Systems (PMIS)
    • Business Intelligence
    • Data Analytics
    • Business Systems Administration
    • Reporting & Dashboard Development
    • Project Controls
    • Process Improvement
  • Experience administering or supporting enterprise platforms such as Smartsheet, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power BI, Excel, or similar technologies.
  • Experience designing dashboards, reports, automations, and data visualizations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams.
  • PMIS, Smartsheet, or Project Management certifications are highly desirable.
  • Valid driver's license.
