Job description

As the HRIS Administrator, you will serve as the primary administrator for Foley's Human Capital Management (HCM) system and related HR technologies, with responsibility for system configuration, security, data integrity, reporting, user support, and continuous improvement.
During implementation, this role supports configuration, testing, data validation, training, and go-live readiness. After implementation, the role provides ongoing administration, troubleshooting, release management, reporting, and process improvement support.
This position partners with HR, IT, Payroll, Finance, vendors, and business leaders to ensure HR technology supports business needs, operational efficiency, and the employee experience.
What you will do:
HRIS Administration and System Support
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the HCM and related HR systems managing configuration, workflows, business processes, security roles, and user access.
  • Provide day-to-day HRIS support, troubleshooting system, process, data, integration, access, and reporting issues.
  • Validate system functionality, workflows, reports, and user access to ensure accuracy, reliability, and operational effectiveness.
  • Maintain HRIS documentation, procedures, user guides, FAQs, and training materials.
  • Serve as a system resource for HR, managers, and employees by providing guidance, support, and training.

Implementation, Enhancements, and Release Management
  • Support HCM implementation activities, including requirements gathering, configuration reviews, testing, training preparation, documentation, and go-live readiness.
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Employee Experience, IT, Finance, vendors, and consultants to align system solutions with business needs.
  • Support HCM releases, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and new functionality through impact assessments, testing, issue tracking, deployment, and communication.
  • Develop test scenarios, document results, track defects, validate resolutions, and partner with stakeholders to support successful deployment.
  • Participate in HR technology projects, system implementations, conversions, and strategic initiatives.

Data Integrity, Reporting, and Analytics
  • Maintain accurate employee, organizational, position, compensation, benefits, talent, and learning data across systems.
  • Support data integrity through audits, reconciliations, validation, quality reviews, troubleshooting, and corrective action.
  • Validate data loads, reports, dashboards, and analytics for accuracy and reliability.
  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, workforce analytics, and ad hoc data requests to support business decisions.
  • Support compliance reporting, audit requests, and data reconciliation activities.

Security, Compliance, and Risk Management
  • Develop, maintain, and enforce HRIS governance standards, documentation requirements, testing protocols, and change management controls.
  • Administer role-based security and user access, ensuring alignment with internal controls.
  • Review access requests, monitor security-related issues, and conduct periodic security reviews.
  • Support data privacy, retention, security, reporting, and compliance requirements.
  • Ensure employee data is protected and handled in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Business Process Improvement and Integration Management
  • Maintain integrations between payroll, benefits, talent management, learning, timekeeping, and other business systems.
  • Support annual HR processes, including compensation planning, benefits administration, open enrollment, performance management, succession planning, and workforce planning.
  • Identify opportunities to automate, simplify, standardize, and improve processes.
  • Stay current on HCM functionality, HR technology trends, and best practices; recommend solutions that improve effectiveness.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • This position may involve access to highly confidential employee and business information and is expected to handle such information with the highest level of discretion

Our Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Five or more years of progressively responsible experience supporting HR systems, HR operations, data management, or system administration.
  • HRIS platform experience required; Workday experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with testing, data validation, reporting, audits, documentation, user support, and issue resolution.
  • Experience partnering with HR, Payroll, IT, Finance, and third-party vendors.
  • Availability, and capability, to drive/travel for business purposes.
  • Ability to translate business needs into system solutions and process improvements.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, analytics, and audit support materials.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy, confidentiality, and sound judgment.
  • Customer-focused, collaborative approach with a continuous improvement mindset.

  • Experience with HCM implementations, upgrades, integrations, enhancements, and post-go-live support preferred.
  • Experience with Workday modules, reporting, security, dashboards, calculated fields, or related functionality preferred.
  • Workday Pro certification or related Workday training preferred.
