We are seeking an Information Systems Business Partner to join the IS team at our manufacturing facility in Richmond, VA. This role will rely heavily on world-class analytical capabilities and business acumen coupled with an ability to quickly develop and help implement identified improvement opportunities. We expect this role to have a continuous improvement mindset and to help drive this culture throughout the organization. The position will report to the Global Information Systems Director.

Candidates should be able to highlight their IMPACT as an IS thought partner throughout their organization(s) and be able to thrive in a fast-paced and result- oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Function
  • Serve as a Business Partner:
    • Improve the operational processes related to the Fourth Shift ERP System, Manufacturing Execution System, Warehouse Management System and Advanced Production Scheduling System.
    • Work with functional managers (Quality, Finance, Manufacturing) and guide them on best practices to improve productivity leading to achieving their business goals.
    • As part of the wider Information Systems team, proactively interact with business leaders and other team members to improve core business practices.
  • Vendor Management: serve as a liaison between internal end users and external support partners.

Technical Skills
  • ERP/MES Support including how the following interacts: Finance & Costing, Item Master, Purchasing, Production, Sales etc. Advanced Manufacturing - Lot Management, Multi-level Bills of Material (Specifically Infor or Fourth Shift ERP)
  • Experience gathering business requirements and formalized design specifications.
  • Proficient in project management.
  • Experience in basic technical support & data management services.
  • Proficient in Excel with an ability to analyze and structure raw data.
  • Advanced Excel user including ODBC Data Extracts, Power Pivot, and BI
  • Report creation skills using tools such as SSRS, Crystal Reports, PowerBI, PowerApps, etc

Qualifications
Experience, Education, Certification
  • Bachelor's Degree in information systems or Business Administration.
  • 5 years working within a global manufacturing organization, in an IS/IT function.
  • 5 years of ERP based project management experience (Infor or Fourth Shift preferred)
  • Experience in dealing with business users with differing levels of knowledge (executive staff, project sponsors, subject matter experts, end users)
  • Experience in delivering training on complex topics.

Base Salary: 90K - 115K annually, exempt
