Job Summary
Responsible for maintaining, modifying, installing, and supporting network and data center systems. This opportunity requires to work on site. Troubleshooting LAN and WAN networks that includes firewalls, switches, and routers. Design and configure new network segments for technology initiatives including documenting, labeling, and ensuring knowledgebase collection of network design, and installation and configuration of hardware. Perform network monitoring to ensure security, availability, and uptime. Position acts as a level 1 response to all security events and alarms alerted by security monitoring systems. Provide recommendations to IT management for improved network infrastructure. Support disaster recovery initiatives and existing recovery hardware and software through maintaining relevant documentation and configuration backups. Manage IT projects and initiatives, either individually or as a member of a team.
Required
  • Perform duties with patience and professionalism
  • Aptitude for troubleshooting problems to resolution and attention to detail
  • Advanced PC, server, and network knowledge, including componentry, interfaces, and peripherals, such as printers, scanners, etc.
  • Advanced knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Advanced networking knowledge including CLI, Routing, NAT, and Firewall Rules
  • Knowledge of Windows networks, domain structure, group policy, and Active Directory environments
  • Knowledge of all Windows operating systems particularly Windows Server
  • Knowledge of network components and protocols and the ability to troubleshoot connectivity problems
  • Knowledge of security procedures and protocols as related to information technology
  • Office 365 knowledge including, but not limited to, Azure, Exchange, and Administration
  • Computer Networking - minimum 5 years

Preferred
  • Experience with Virtualization
  • Experience with Firewalls and Routers
  • Advanced knowledge of Azure components, including both Azure Cloud Hosting and Azure Active Directory
  • Certifications in relevant areas (Security, Server Administration, Network Support)
  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
  • 6-10 years' experience in network, server, and data center administration
  • Experience supporting database systems
