Position Summary...What you'll do...Role summary:
The (USA) Manager, Information Technology Audit leads the evaluation and enhancement of computer information systems by identifying technology risks and ensuring alignment with organizational risk remediation efforts. This role manages technical audit projects, executes detailed testing plans, and presents findings to senior leadership and stakeholders. The position requires collaboration across departments to support system improvements that meet compliance and business objectives. The manager fosters continuous learning in emerging technologies and drives efficient audit execution while promoting integrity, accountability, and strategic risk mitigation within the technology environment.
About the team:
The Information Technology Audit team leads comprehensive technology audits to identify and address risks within Walmart’s systems. Collaborating with technology stakeholders, the team evaluates system controls, ensures compliance, and supports business integration. Members apply expertise in audit risk, information technology, and communication to deliver detailed assessments and actionable recommendations. The team emphasizes effective project management, clear communication, and strategic risk mitigation to maintain system integrity. Committed to continuous learning, the team adapts to evolving technologies, driving improvements that align with Walmart’s operational goals and uphold organizational standards.
What you'll do:
  • Lead and execute technical audits of computer information systems, assessing risks and control effectiveness.
  • Analyze technology environments to identify gaps, prioritize remediation, and recommend system enhancements.
  • Manage audit projects, including planning, testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
  • Evaluate operational systems to support omnichannel retail growth and compliance requirements.
  • Present audit findings and risk mitigation strategies to leadership and technology stakeholders.
  • Support team development by mentoring and resolving complex technical issues.
  • Utilize data analytics and emerging technologies to enhance audit efficiency and effectiveness.

What you'll bring:
  • Proven expertise in information technology audit with strong knowledge of risk mitigation and audit risk principles.
  • Experience executing technical audit engagements, including testing technology architecture, systems, and applications.
  • Proficiency in applying Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) frameworks.
  • Strong communication skills to present findings and collaborate with technology stakeholders and leadership.
  • Ability to manage audit projects, prioritize risks, and develop remediation strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and cloud computing.
  • Demonstrated leadership in mentoring and developing audit team members.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00 - $155,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :
