Job description

Position Overview:Kay and Associates is seeking a highly skilled Automated Program Technician/Instructor with extensive experience in Air Defense maintenance programs and data processing. The successful candidate will assist the Kuwait Air Defense in the development, documentation, training, operation, and troubleshooting of modern maintenance management information systems. This role requires a strong background in both data processing and aviation maintenance management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise data processing professionals on Air Defense maintenance management functions.
  • Guide maintenance management personnel on applicable areas of automation.
  • Execute responsibilities from the Coordinator, including establishing standards, designing, testing, and implementing software.
  • Coordinate between work groups and maintenance managers.
  • Monitor programs using appropriate management software.
  • Provide technical advice on proposals and studies of short and long-term options for Air Defense maintenance automation.
  • Perform system administration duties for all maintenance LAN and WAN as directed.
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and configure PCs within the Kuwait Air Defense.
  • Prepare and conduct formal classroom instruction and on-the-job training (OJT) as required.

Minimum Personnel Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years' experience with Air Defense Maintenance Programs.
  • Minimum of 10 years of data processing experience.
  • Proficient with PC applications and computer hardware configuration and operation. Windows experience is required.
  • LAN training.
  • Experience in report generation and analysis.
  • Skilled in conducting formal training on computer hardware and software.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • No security clearance required.
