Job description

Candidate will be able to operate the help desk, record trouble calls and messages, and maintain job control log. Operate computer systems and associated peripheral equipment in accordance with established procedures. Analyze processing malfunctions in cooperation with local personnel to determine causes and take appropriate corrective action.

Create and maintain file server user accounts, user's rights, and group assignments.Complete the required entries on the Information Technology Equipment Custodian Automated Data Processing (ITEC) Utilization Log, trouble call log and run time log.Perform account management by giving users the appropriate group, organizational account, and distribution list access. Provision and/or de-provision new and separating users.Monitor usage of equipment (i.e. ports, disks, Central Processing Unit (CPU), work stations, & printers) using system tools

Provide annual and semi-annual statistical utilization reports to COR when requested.Set-up and/or relocate hardware (i.e., work stations, printers) as required. Thiswill require lifting 40 lbs. from floor to desktop height.Unpack, inspect, and test incoming computer hardware to ensure that all parts have been received and are in satisfactory condition
