THE ROLE:
Step into the role of a senior Electrical Engineer and become a pivotal part of our innovative team. You'll spearhead the design and debugging of advanced cloud compute server systems and PCB boards, driving projects from early concept through to production launch. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and work closely with external customers and suppliers to ensure top-tier product development. THE PERSON:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Lead the development of system-level architectures and board-level implementations
  • Prepare and oversee specifications, BOM, design, and schematic entry
  • Supervise design work by junior engineers and external suppliers
  • Make critical decisions related to PCB layout guidelines and supervise Layout Engineers
  • Utilize simulation tools to analyze designs and ensure they meet requirements
  • Work hands on in system bring-up and testing, and system-level and board-level debugging
  • Collaborate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely, high-quality product development
  • Specify and oversee production test methods
  • Balance cost, performance, quality, and schedule to drive project success

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
  • Expertise in analog and digital design
  • Proficiency in high-speed serial interface design
  • In-depth knowledge of high-frequency PCB layout design
  • Strong debugging skills for system-level and board-level designs including signal integrity issues
  • Familiarity with power distribution techniques as well as server CPU and GPU system architectures
  • Ability to implement and debug high-speed serial and parallel interfaces (SAS/SATA, PCIe, USB, backplane Ethernet, DDR, etc.)
  • Skilled in feature and cost trade-off analysis
  • Ability to create detailed specifications and design guides
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills
