Job description

Are you looking for a flexible gig with extra earnings in the food/hospitality space?

Days of Operations: Monday-Friday, primarily Breakfast and Lunch Events (8am-2pm)
*Choose your own hours and accept available gig events that match your availability*

Compensation: Gig-Dependent (on average, equivalent to approximately $24 CAD/hr)

General Duties:

  • Transport food and necessary supplies from our hub to a client's location (using personal vehicle) and complete designated delivery/organization of food.
  • Ability to occasionally cover Barista responsibilities (with notice) on-site at our client's location
  • Strategically coordinate with other members of the HUNGRY team
  • Operate efficiently with a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Professionally answer food-related questions and guide guests.
  • Effective communication to ensure that all elements of the event are executed.
  • High level attention to detail and outgoing personality.
  • Maintain professional demeanor and appearance during events.
  • Adhere to all food safety and hygiene guidelines.
  • Ability to choose when and how much you work.

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation (use personal vehicle)
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
  • 18+ years of age.
  • Engaging, energetic, and customer-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Serving, hospitality, catering, or event experience
  • Barista experience, making espresso-based drinks
