Job Description We are seeking a Gameplay Engineer 2 to join our team supporting a creator platform for custom game content. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in gameplay development, mods/add-ons, and scripting with TypeScript or similar and a proven ability to design and deliver example content and code samples that demonstrate new game features. Top must have skills: 1.Experience building game content, mods, or add-ons - ideally for Minecraft Bedrock, but strong experience with other moddable game platforms counts too.

2.Scripting ability, specifically TypeScript - Candidates should be deeply comfortable working with behavior packs, resource packs, JSON entity/item/block definitions, and the Script API (JavaScript/TypeScript). Responsibilities: Design and implement example gameplay content such as mini-games and scenarios to showcase new features. Create high-quality code samples, scripts, and add-ons to guide creators.

Analyze complex requirements and produce clear technical specifications. Apply best practices to design, test, implement, and support solutions with quality and security. Act as a technical resource for modeling, simulation, and gameplay analysis efforts.

Adapt to evolving priorities and iterate within Agile practices. Required Skills & Qualifications: Proficiency in gameplay development and scripting for mods/add-ons (e.g., TypeScript or similar). Development experience with general languages or technologies (e.g., C#, C++, HTML).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to quality and security. Experience delivering end-to-end projects and following iterative and Agile SDLC. Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field.

2-4 years of relevant experience. Preferred Skills: Portfolio of shipped or published mods, add-ons, or extensions on platforms such as Minecraft or similar. Experience building creator-focused documentation, samples, or tooling.
