Job description

The United States Coast Guard Community Services Command is seeking an IT Specialist Cyber Security (Developmental).Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications Required:
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or a high school diploma/GED and three years of related experience.
  • Active Security + Certification
  • DoW IT security experience and training
  • Experience with incident response.
  • Ability to routinely lift 10 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications (in addition to the minimum):
  • Minimum two years' experience providing information security support for comparable-sized organization(s).
  • Working knowledge with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS), NIST Special Publications 800-53, 800-53A, 800-37 and FISMA. or similar cyber security frameworks
  • Experience with evidence gathering and forensic analysis.
  • Familiarity with project management best practices.
Education:Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security or a high school diploma/GED and three years of related experience.Employment Type: OTHER
