Job description

Job Summary:
Omega Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Software Engineer in Test to join their team. The role involves developing and implementing test automation for data-intensive applications across various layers of technology, ensuring quality and performance through rigorous testing processes.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering
• 5+ years of recent experience in data intensive software development and Quality Engineering
• Proven technical experience as an automation engineer/software engineer working across a diverse range of applications, and multiple layers of a technology stack
• Experience in testing batch applications, database code, middle-tier code, and web apis developed using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Informatica
• Experience with technologies to implement test automation such as Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Karate, Fitnesse
• Experience in developing Oracle PL/SQL processes and writing/tuning complex SQL queries
• Demonstrate strong Test Automation skills for Domain Services and UI Applications running on AWS cloud and on-premises
• Experience with crafting test cases and test data sets containing various edge cases to validate test scenarios based on complex business rules
• Knowledgeable in ETL processing using scheduling tools such as Autosys
• Expertise in working with DevOps/CICD pipeline technologies such as Git, Jenkins, UDeploy, and Concourse
• Exposure to Dimensional modeling, Datawarehouse and Snowflake development
