  • 5 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or development management.

Preferred qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronics or equivalent practical experience.
  • 8 years of experience in product engineering, manufacturing, or development management.
  • Experience developing and integrating electrical and mechanical hardware with power/cooling/networking infrastructure.
  • Experience in working with contract manufacturing partners.

Responsibilities
  • Build, optimize and integrate platforms for Google data center hardware (server, storage, switch, rack or accelerator) at the global manufacturing partners.
  • Partner with the NPI team to define design for manufacturing (DFM) requirements and provide input to Manufacturing Strategy.
  • Analyze, troubleshoot and root cause of manufacturing yield issues and data center field escapes. Drive issues to closure with corrective and preventive measures.
  • Collaborate with internal engineers and manufacturing partner engineers to drive improvement for product manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness including test coverage and reduce cost.
  • Drive, support and manage product changes to improve product design or manufacturing performance.
