Description
  • Supporting tasking that involves engineering development; integration and interface design analysis; installation, fielding, field analysis, operation, maintenance, and testing of networks to include data communications hardware and software
  • Developing and implementing network designs in accordance with contract requirements and industry best practices to support robust and secure communications
  • Configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting network hardware and software to ensure continuous operational performance
  • Conducting comprehensive network performance evaluations and diagnostic testing to identify and resolve connectivity issues
  • Implementing security protocols and measures as prescribed by the SOW/PWS to maintain the integrity of communications and data
  • Collaborating cross-functionally with IT, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to seamlessly integrate network operations within broader system architectures

Requirements
  • 0-3 years experience in a computer network architect role
  • Bachelor's degree in systems engineering, cyber security engineering, computer engineering, computer science, information systems or other engineering degree
  • Demonstrated proficiency in designing and executing network architecture solutions, including routing, switching, and firewall implementations
  • Skilled in configuring and maintaining network hardware and software in compliance with stringent DoD requirements
  • Proven ability to analyze network performance metrics to troubleshoot and optimize connectivity and security functions
  • One or more of the following: Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Security+, or Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA-Security)
  • Possess an Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
