Engineering Technician

**Immediate Opportunity**

CSEngineering is looking to add an Engineering Technician to our growing team!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability and practical knowledge in AutoCAD Civil 3D and ARCGIS Programs utilizing Spatial Data Standards for Facilities Infrastructure and Environment (SDSFIE) and ability to create construction drawings, floorplans, and update as-built drawings, input and manipulate data into ARCGIS.
  • Practical knowledge of a wide range of technical engineering methods, principles, requirements, work techniques and practices relating to construction, and skill in applying standardized, analytical and evaluative methods and techniques sufficient to inspect projects and advise on and/or resolve difficult but well-precedented, factual, procedural, and/or recurring issue.
  • Knowledge of electrical, mechanical and structural aspects of major construction projects.
  • Knowledge of engineering and architectural plans and specifications to read and interpret construction requirements.
  • Ability to communicate fluently in English both orally and in writing; negotiate complex issues; and maintain good working relationships.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in an engineering or drafting office utilizing AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or ARCGIS Programs.
  • Ability to complete a favorable National Agency Check plus Written Inquiries (NACI) background check.
