Position Summary:
The Department of Engineering Technology has an ongoing need for Adjuncts, each teaching up to two undergraduate courses in either Construction Engineering Technology (CET), Concrete Industry Management (CIM), Construction Management Technology (CMT), Computer Technology (CMPT), Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET), Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET), Medical Informatics Technology (MIT), Manufacturing Engineering Technology (MNET) and Surveying Engineering Technology (SET) for the upcoming semester(s).
Essential Functions:
Teach one or two undergraduate courses for the Fall, Spring or Summer semesters, as assigned by the individual Program Coordinators. Both day and/or evening sections are available.
Prerequisite Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications include a MS in Construction/Civil, Electrical, Computer, Mechanical, Medical Informatics, Manufacturing, or Surveying Engineering, or in a closely related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
-Prior teaching experience is preferred. Full-time industrial experience in a job related to CET, CIM, CMPT, CMT, ECET, MET, MNET, MIT or SET.

Salary Information:
In compliance with the NJ Pay Transparency Law, the rate for this position is $2668 per contact hour (USD). NJIT considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer. This pay range represents base pay only and excludes any additional items such as incentives, bonuses or other items.
