Carnegie Mellon University's department of Electrical and Computer Engineering is seeking a Research Associate that will assists in the development and execution of research projects including experiment design, analysis of data collected and writing up experiment results.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Identifies problems and obstacles to progress; develops strategies to solve problems.
  • May program software in support of job functions. Attends project meetings.
  • Performs research experiments following experimental protocol and procedures. Research and documents information by compiling and maintaining accurate and detailed records.
  • Summarizes statistical information for analysis, examination or presentation; writes technical reports. May build and validate quantitative models.
  • Uses a variety of software packages to input, manipulate, collect and record results or observations.
  • Other duties as assigned
