Job description

Job Requirements

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing engineered drawings for HVAC control systems. You should be able to review specifications and contract drawings for assigned projects. Provide accurate drawings for HVAC control systems and schematics using Visio. Have the ability to size control valves, dampers, air flow stations, and the like for HVAC systems. Experience designing systems with typical DDC control lines such as: Schneider Electric, Tridium, or similar. Be able to write and understand the sequence of operations for HVAC control systems, along with assembling submittals and O&Ms for projects.


Work Experience
  • Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Engineering Technology/Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering or other STEM field with 1-3 years' experience in relevant field.
  • 2+ years' experience in controls design engineering OR 5+ years as a controls technician.
  • Sound knowledge of electrical circuits, HVAC and controls required.
  • Advanced computer skills and proficiency in MS Office Suite required.
  • Must be able to deal with a large volume of work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment.
