Work Location:Boston, MA, Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)
Hybrid Schedule:At Helen of Troy, we embrace a flexible hybrid work model designed to support collaboration and productivity. Helen of Troy's internship is a 8-10-week program. We empower our interns with opportunities to work on business challenges aligned to your educational goals! You will have the opportunity to network with executives, give back through planned community events and participate in fun social events with your intern peers. Your peers and managers will support and improve your leadership skills and experience.
What you will be doing:
Helen of Troy is a manufacturer and marketer of consumer products sold under such brands as PUR, Honeywell,Vicksand Braun.TheMedical Device New Product Development teambased in Marlborough for theWellnessdivision focuses onthe design and developmentofnew medical device technologiessuch as thermometers and blood pressure monitors.Interns will get the opportunity to helpbuild andevaluateprototypes,help createtest protocols and design fixtures,utilizenew technologiesas well as create and run test methods on analytical equipment to evaluate, andgain hands on experience with 3D modeling and 3D printing.
Learn tooperateand run some analytical equipment like ICP-OES, GC/MS, SEM/EDAX, Fluke BP2 Simulator.
Skills needed to be successful in this role:
Minimum Qualifications:
Current technical high school student.
Passion for brand-building and consumer marketing.
Strong computer skills.
Desire to learn.
Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
In Massachusetts, the standard base pay range for this role is $13-15 hourly. This base pay range is specific to Massachusetts and may not be applicable to other locations. Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to location, experience, skill level, and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees.
