What you will do

Our GTA office is seeking undergraduate Business or Accounting students, to join the team as a Summer 2027 Intern in our Private Enterprise Core Services Practice

Our Private Enterprise Core Services Team 

The Private Enterprise Core Services practice at KPMG is focused on supporting entrepreneurs, family businesses, privately-held companies, and high net worth individuals and families. Helping our clients to succeed is our bottom line. In addition to providing our clients with assurance, accounting and tax services, we work with other members of our firm to offer a wide range of services. 

Your role will provide you with a variety of experience in many aspects of the Private Enterprise Core Services practice, emphasizing those that fit with your background, experience and interest. Your responsibilities will include: 

  • Assist and support senior staff in completing compilation and review engagements  
  • Identifying and resolving accounting and tax issues 
  • Preparation of personal and corporate tax returns 
  • Preparation of Trust Tax returns, Partnership returns, payroll and investment information returns, etc.    
  • Developing strong technical accounting and tax skills  
  • Taking primary responsibility and ownership of files by independently managing workflow and presenting completed work product to managers and/or partners on a timely basis 
  • Other special projects as assigned
