What You’ll Do:


As a Process Engineering Intern, you’ll work alongside experienced engineers to support production processes, improve manufacturing efficiency, and develop tooling solutions used in real-world electronics manufacturing.


This role offers direct exposure to:

  • Production troubleshooting

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist process and production engineers with:
    • Designed experiments
    • Failure analysis
    • Process improvements
    • Process documentation and procedures
    • Tooling setup and machine procedures
  • Design tooling in SolidWorks
  • Create tool paths for CNC machining and 3D/resin printing
  • Troubleshoot production issues and support defect resolution
  • Design and build jigs/fixtures for complex circuit card assemblies
  • Support asset management and labeling processes
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing performance
Requirements:

What We’re Looking For:


Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing an Engineering degree (Sophomore level or higher)
  • Experience with:
    • 3D printing and resin printing
    • CNC machining and tool pathing
    • SolidWorks and tooling creation
    • HSM Express and/or SolidWorks CAM
  • Basic CAD drawing and GD&T knowledge
  • Comfortable using basic hand tools
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems in a production environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1–3 years of related experience through school projects, internships, labs, clubs, or work experience
