POSITION SUMMARY | Advanced Software Engineering Intern

The Advanced Software Engineering internship is open to students currently enrolled in a four-year institution, in a Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science program.  The SE Intern will serve as a member of one of our product teams to assist in the development and enhancement of software applications.  The Advanced Software Engineering Intern will gain experience in all aspects of the software development lifecycle and have the opportunity to develop skills using various tools and programming languages.              

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES | Advanced Software Engineering Intern

  • Interaction and collaboration with full-time Software Engineers on the development and enhancement of Cloud Based, Java or Go database-driven software.
  • Implement and apply various software design concepts to projects in Production.
  • Estimate work efforts and requirements for projects assigned and perform to those estimations.
  • Communicate effectively and appropriately with internal team members and external clients.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS | Advanced Software Engineering Intern

  • Currently enrolled in a four-year institution, in a related program
  • Experience writing Java, GO or other OO language.
  • Major GPA of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale preferred.

PREFERRED SKILLS | Advanced Software Engineering Intern

  • Experience with web UI technologies a plus
  • Portfolio of previous work or projects
  • Experience with Angular, Vue, React and Bootstrap UI technologies a plus
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
