Job Summary
The Student Assistant will support the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering as a Lab Assistant on the Statesboro Campus beginning Fall 2026.
Student employees cannot work more than 1300 hours in a 12-consecutive month period.
Responsibilities
  • Attends all sessions of assigned lab during the semester
  • Assists with lab set-up
  • Monitors student use of equipment
  • Helps students troubleshoot equipment and/or software issues
  • Answers technical questions related to software and equipment during the lab session
  • Provides technical support to students and assists faculty during lab sessions for one or more of the following Electrical and Computer Engineering courses:
    • ENGR 1731 Computing for Engineers
    • ENGR 1732 Program Design for Engineers
    • ENGR 2131 Electronics and Circuit Analysis
    • ENGR 2323 Digital Design Lab
    • ENGR 2341
      Introduction to Signal Processing with Lab
    • EENG 3241 Electric Machines w/Lab
    • EENG 3340 Microcontrollers with Lab
