Job description

Title: Software Engineer II

Job Location: 1100 North Market Street, Wilmington, DE 19801. Position requires in-office work four (4) days every week.

Job Description: Contribute to team responsible for building and maintaining UI and services used internally as well as externally by clients utilizing the client portal. Design and develop new software and web applications using Angular, Typescript, HTML, CSS, and .Net Core framework. Design and architect enterprise level solutions. Developing REST services and APIs for data integration with UI applications. Design ETL processes. Automate DevOps pipelines using CI/CD and GIT. Program using C# language. Write complex queries for SQL and MongoDB. Implement software in Azure. Support applications under development and customize current applications. Assist with the software update process for existing applications, and roll-outs of software releases. Analyze, test, and assist with the integration of new applications. Document all development activity. Research, write, and edit documentation and technical requirements, including software designs, evaluation plans, test results, technical manuals, and formal recommendations and reports. Monitor and evaluate competitive applications and products. Review literature, patents, and current practices relevant to the solution of assigned projects. Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements. Conduct analysis to determine integration needs. Work with the Quality Assurance team to determine if applications fit specification and technical requirements.

Minimum requirements: Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as Software Engineer, Computer Engineer, Full Stack .NET Developer, or Full Stack Java Developer.

Requires five (5) years of experience:

  • Developing software using Angular, Typescript, HTML, and CSS.

Requires two (2) years of experience:

  • Designing and architecting enterprise level solutions with Java and Springboot;
  • Designing and architecting enterprise level solutions with React or Angular 9;
  • Developing REST services and APIs for data integration with UI applications; and,
  • Automating DevOps pipelines using CI/CD and GIT.

Requires one (1) year of experience:

  • Writing complex queries for SQL and MongoDB.

Salary: $153,358.00-$153,358.00 per year
