12+ Month W-2 Contract position in Chandler, AZ Pay: $40/hr Position ID: 2737 An excellent position with a large international defense / aerospace company * Engineer - CAD CAM 1 * Please apply ONLY if you have experience with Siemens NX or CATIA CAD tools or similar. United States Citizenship is required due to government contract requirements We can ONLY consider your application if you have: 1: 2+ years utilizing Siemens NX/CATIA CAD tools or applicable 3D CAD systems 2: Geometric Dimensioning And Tolerancing (GD&T) 3: This position is intended to be contracted to hire. While this is the intent, this is not a promise to hire by the company. We are looking for an Engineer CAD CAM 1 to support the Mechanical and Energetics department. This position will serve on-site at Chandler Arizona. The Engineer CAD CAM 1 will work within the design group and will be responsible for creating drawing/design packages with proper content and ensuring compliance with applicable industry and military standards. Duties and Responsibilities == Reviewing designs for fit, function, manufacturability, and economy of fabrication under the supervision of a Sr CAD Designer. == This includes review of tolerance analysis, hardware selection and fitment on assembly prints. == Basic knowledge in GD&T and application. y == Verifying 3D models submitted to manufacturing utilizing Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter. == Liaison with various engineering disciplines, Manufacturing, and Quality, and some vendor liaison. == Modeling fully defined components and assemblies efficiently using Siemens NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter == Create/revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME modeling and drawing standards. == Create and review mechanical drawings with appropriate personnel verifying completed work, checking dimensions, materials and quantities to be used. == Mechanical modeling using NX 2412 managed with Teamcenter. == Create/Revise parametric drawings in conformance with ASME 3D modeling and drawing standards. == Perform related duties as assigned or required. == Knowledge of Word, Excel, Windows and NX 1946 as required. == Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
