Position Overview

  • The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating company forklift to transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated areas. Waiakea Hawaiian Volcanic Water sources, manufactures and produces bottled water from start to finish at our Bottling Plant. Schedule:

The Production Forklift Operator I is a full-time position.


Available Shift Schedules:

Shift 3: Monday-Saturday, 10:00pm-6:30am


*Shift 3 receives a 5% shift differential added to their hourly wage.

Essential Job Functions:

Forklift Operator

  • The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating company forklift to transport raw materials, full goods and/or finished goods to designated area
  • Operate industrial vehicles and equipment
  • Load and unload product in/out of designated trailers and/or route trucks
  • Move product and/or materials manually as required
  • Communicate with Logistic's Team when loaded containers are finished for transport
  • Validate all documentation associated with the position and turn into Loading Supervisor at the end of each shift
  • Use of computer and tablet to print inventory tags of finished product and place on pallets
  • Responsible for maintaining proper loading patterns of finished pallets in container
  • Maintain accurate inventory of product with assistance from the Loading Supervisor and Logistics team


Other Job Functions

  • Troubleshoots equipment issues while working with the maintenance team to resolve any issue adversely affecting the machine’s operational status
  • Reports any critical equipment mechanical issues to the maintenance team/manufacturing team supervisors as well as follows the standard work order process for non-critical issues
  • Effectively communicates with management, engineers, mechanics, and other operators any condition that is or will adversely affect the machine and associated equipment’s performance


Requirements:
  • 1-2 years minimum experience operating forklift required
  • Basic knowledge of computer/tablet skills required
  • Ability to troubleshoot computers/tablets/printers while on the job
  • Complies with all standard safety practices, safety rules, good manufacturing practices and all other company rules and requirements.
