KBR is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical & Computer Engineer to join our growing engineering team. This role supports the design, development, integration, and sustainment of complex systems across mission-critical programs. The ideal candidate is an early-career engineer who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to contribute to innovative solutions in support of national security and advanced technology initiatives.
Basic Compensation:
$78,000 - $117,000 USD annually
The offered rate will be based on the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.
Key Responsibilities
  • Support the design and development of electrical and computer engineering systems, including hardware, embedded systems, and networked solutions
  • Assist with system integration, testing, and validation activities
  • Develop and review technical documentation, including schematics, interface control documents, and test procedures
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including systems and software engineers
  • Participate in troubleshooting and resolving system-level issues
  • Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across engineering processes and tools
  • Support field activities, installations, or operational assessments as needed

Required Qualifications
  • Clearance: Active TS/SCI clearance and the ability to successfully obtain a CI Polygraph
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience: 0-3 years of relevant experience (internships/co-ops applicable)
  • Tools: Familiarity with engineering tools such as MATLAB and Python
  • Communication: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Team: Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Additional Compensation:
KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short-term incentives, long-term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
