Hanson Professional Services Inc. is seeking a full-time Aviation Civil Engineer (EIT) in the Florida region.
A Day in the Life of an Aviation Civil Engineer (EIT) at Hanson
Here's a snapshot of what you would do in this role:
  • Perform engineering calculations and utilize design software to support aviation and civil site projects
  • Obtain permitting, collect existing physical data, and support planning and design tasks
  • Assist with site investigations, field reconnaissance, utility locations, and permit application processes
  • Support construction document preparation, contractor pricing assistance, and project close-out documentation
  • Collaborate with senior technical staff
  • Other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For
We feel the following qualifications would set you up for success in this role:
Education & Training
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field (required)
  • FE/EIT certification desirable or scheduled prior to graduation
  • 0-3 years of aviation project experience

Technical Skills
  • CAD experience and/or willingness to learn AutoCAD/Civil 3D

Soft Skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively to develop and present concepts
  • Ability to build effective relationships with internal and external clients
  • Strong oral communication and technical writing skills
