Position Summary:

Provides excellent customer and box office services to all patrons, artists, staff, donors,partnersand visitors in a friendly and engaging manner as part of providing a high-quality theatrical experience andfurnishingan excellent venue for artists.


Responsibilities

  • Excellent and friendly customer service-be a patron advocate.
  • Answer incoming calls.
  • Make outgoing calls.
  • Sell,reserveand reschedule tickets
  • Answer questions about all theater information-tickets, shows, policies, etc.
  • Work together with other Box Office Reps on assigned tasks.
  • Complete required training.
  • Use ticketing system (Tessitura), including ongoing education in Tessitura to improve patron experience both over the phone and in person.
  • Prepare tickets and door reports for performances.
  • Assist Front of House with customer service needs.
  • Daily data management and reporting in Tessitura as requested.
  • Receive shipments and take in and put out the mail daily.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly workspace, and other cleaning and maintenance tasks asasked.
  • Maintain a clean, well-groomed appearance.
  • Help whenever asked with multiple tasks.
  • Expected to work some weekends and evening hours.
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills and Education

  • Passion for theater.
  • High school diplomarequired.
  • Associates degree is a plus!
  • Cheerful and friendly with a highly personable and customer service-oriented approach.
  • Effective telephone, computer, and organizational skills.
