We are seeking a Senior Database Administrator to manage and support enterprise Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server environments. This role is responsible for database administration, performance optimization, backup and recovery planning, security management, and long term database strategy. The ideal candidate will partner closely with infrastructure, security, and IT teams to ensure the reliability, availability, and integrity of critical database systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer, maintain, and upgrade Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server databases.
  • Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system availability and reliability.
  • Develop, implement, and test backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies.
  • Manage database security, user access, and compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with systems and security teams to support new technology initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and patch management.
  • Enforce database policies, procedures, change control processes, and licensing compliance.
  • Support development and QA environments, including database refreshes and testing activities.
  • Provide technical guidance to team members and serve as a subject matter expert for database-related initiatives.
  • Work with IT leadership to develop and implement database strategies that support future business needs.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Oracle Certified Administrator certification required.

  • 7+ years of Oracle database administration experience.
  • 3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server administration experience.
