Education and Experience ยป Minimum of 5 yearsโ€™ relevant experience working within or consulting Public Safety Organizations. Proven working experience implementing, configuring, or managing CAD, Mobile, or RMS systems. Intermediate/Advanced Experience with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, SharePoint). Subject Matter Expert in CAD, RMS, Mobile, and other public safety systems. Intermediate IT knowledge including database management, networking, and virtualization. Knowledge and understanding of how software projects are delivered. Ability to connect and maintain strong relationships with the project team and client. Must be able to gain CJIS certification or pass background checks per client requirements. Nice to have: Experience with or knowledge of Geographic Information Systems. Basic understanding of cloud technology. Knowledge of Central Square CAD products a plus. WHAT YOUโ€™LL DO: Job Responsibilities: Works as part of a team that implements, supports, and maintains public safety software solutions, including: Installation of software, Configuration and implementation, Testing, Training and Troubleshooting. Ensure quality standards and proper compliance with client rules and regulations. Building and maintain quality relationships with client and end-user resources. Application file maintenance. User and security application management. Environment administration (production, test, training). Configuration of application business logic rules based on the City's needs. Documentation of Chicago specific application settings. End User application assistance. Consultation with the client on new process changes and application options.
