Job Summary

We are looking for an ASE Certified and Experienced Automotive Technician with at least 10 years experience to join our family owned and operated automotive repair shop in Downtown Orlando.

As an Master Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. Repairs include but are not limited to electrical, HVAC, technical, general service and maintenance repairs to name but a few. You will be working on a range of different vehicles from cars and trucks, to commercial vans and passenger vans, to Turtle Top and converted buses. You must be comfortable using the manufacturer's computer software and have extensive knowledge of vehicle systems.

Responsibilities

  • Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle malfunction codes
  • Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation, and other necessary protocols
  • Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks such as tire rotations, oil changes, and brake pad replacements
  • Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems, including engine, transmission, and brakes
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
  • Convey necessary vehicle repair information to customers in a clear and concise manner

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is required
  • Automotive Service Excellence/ASE certification or Society of Automotive Engineers/SAE certification is required
  • Strong customer service and communications skills are required
  • At least 10 to 15 years of experience is preferred as a Certified Automotive Technician
  • Bilingual English / Spanish is preferred but not necessary
