Overview:ย 

We are seeking a database operations engineer to support the health, performance, and reliability of our database environments. You'll work cross functionally with several data/technology teams across the firm, giving you real visibility into how data powers the business. In this role, you partner closely with senior members of the team, monitoring performance, supporting critical maintence and troubleshooting efforts through automation, documentation, performance tuning, and data migration/disaster recovery efforts.ย  If you're looking to sharpen your skills, work alongside experienced database professionals, and grow into a more senior DBA role over time, this is the opportunity to do it!

  • Familiarity with SQL and writing queries
  • Exposure to at least one database platform (e.g., PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Good communication skills and eagerness to learn
  • Basic understanding of Linux/Windows operating systems
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively as part of a team
