Job Summary/Basic FunctionThe College of Education and Human Services is seeking a motivated graduate student to assist with the planning and implementation of its highly successful continuing education program, the Learning Institute: Global Well-Being and Social Change Conference and the Lockey Lecture.
Required Qualifications - Current Graduate Student in Education, SOWK, or PSYC major.
- Committed to working at least 10-15 hours per week.
- Must be able to work independently and show initiative.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to work compassionately and professionally with a diverse population.
- Good interpersonal phone and face-to-face skills.
- Good communications skills
- Organized
- Attention to detail
- General computer experience (Word, Excel and Outlook preferred).
- Creative- Familiar with Canva or Adobe Express
- Willingness to perform varied duties.
- Ability to multitask and work with multiple projects at one time.

Job DutiesTasks may include but are not limited to:
- Attend Committee Meetings
- Event Planning for the academic year
- Research as needed
- Serve as contact for the Learning Institute
- Supply status reports to Dean and LI Committee
- Coordination and implementation of events
- Marketing Promotion of events
- Room Reservations for events
- Registration setup and tracking
- Communicate with speakers & participants
- CEU and Act 48 tracking and reporting
- Perform specific duties and provide assistance when requested.
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions and Physical Effort - Ability to communicate well with others
