Electronics Assembly Technician
Alicat Scientific, Inc. is seeking an Electronics Assembly Technician to mount a series of calibrated head assemblies onto adapter plates to produce our flow/pressure control meters on a fast-paced production line at our Marana, Arizona facility. Duties of the Electronics Assembly Technician include but are not limited to managing a work queue to prioritize the production schedule based on urgency and job prioritization. Ability to read and apply work instructions and schematics. Understand and apply the bill of materials (B.O.M.) and maintain and verify satisfactory inventory levels. The daily production expectation is to assemble 70 to 100 units per 8-hour shift. The ideal candidate should have base-level soldering skills, experience with small hand tools, enjoy repetition and a competitively paced work environment. If you have previous experience within a production, manufacturing or technical facility, we'd like to meet you. Ultimately, as a successful Electronics Assembly Technician will uphold Alicat's prestigious quality standards for scientific instruments that impact industries from healthcare to aerospace.

Day in the Life:
• Hand soldering SMT components
• Basic head assembly
• Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive on electronic assemblies and subassemblies
• Determine methods and sequences of assembly operation where information is not readily available
• Use and maintain hand tools, power tools, calibration and test equipment.
• Inspect for visual and physical defects throughout the assembly and production process
• Follow procedures to maintain inventory accuracy
