Job description

  • Comply with all MTC policies and procedures including, but not limited to safety and emergency procedures, requirements regulatory agencies.
  • Performs independent and production line jobs, which may include logistics, packaging, unpackaging, material handling, assembly, lifting heavy boxes, sorting, and filling.
  • Proficiently performs the manual labor and responsibilities of Business Enterprise stations to meet goals.
  • Operates equipment and follows production procedures as instructed.
  • Follow all safety procedures.
  • Uses a computer.
  • Use hand tools and power tools, as necessary.
  • Meets quality standard expectations.
  • Move products and materials to and from work areas.
  • Ensures work area is cleared, cleaned, and sanitized as directed.
  • Perform duties as assigned to support BET operations.
  • Diagnoses problems quickly, foresees potential issues, and delivers resolution.
  • Maintain an environment of respect and inclusivity where all people can do their best work.
  • Maintains a collaborative work environment and works well with others.
  • All other duties as assigned by supervisor(s).
Requirements
  • Experience working in warehouse, production, manufacturing, or assembly, preferred.
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
  • Ability to use a computer.
  • Experience with Outlook Email.
  • Good active learning and listening skills
  • Ability to be self-directed.
  • Must have good customer service skills.
  • Ability to work with diverse groups of people one on-one and in groups or as a team.
  • Consistent and regular attendance is required.
  • Experience or familiarity with forklift, or pallet jacks, a plus.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Must pass a Level II background check/fingerprinting (https://info.flclearinghouse.com) and drug screening.

Part-time - up to 25 hours.
