Assembly / Shop Technician – Copier & Printer Setup

Location: Bolingbrook, IL 60440
Pay Rate: $18.00/hr
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Job Type: Temp to Hire


About the Role

Join our growing team in Bolingbrook, IL as an Assembly Technician / Shop Technician! You’ll be responsible for assembling, configuring, and testing copier and printer systems before shipment to customers. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on mechanical work, teamwork, and quality-driven production environments.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and install hardware options into copier and printer systems

  • Perform mechanical and electrical setup, testing, and troubleshooting

  • Use basic hand tools (screwdrivers, nut drivers, etc.) safely and efficiently

  • Follow standardized quality assurance (QA) checklists

  • Log work activities in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace

  • Support team members and follow company policies and procedures


Qualifications
  • 2+ years experience in assembly, manufacturing, warehouse, or equipment setup

  • Basic mechanical and computer skills required

  • Ability to read and follow written instructions

  • Strong teamwork, reliability, and attention to detail
