Job description

The OFC Inventory Analyst is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and supporting operational efficiency within the Order Fulfillment Center. This role ensures inventory integrity across all assigned work areas by performing cycle counts, investigating discrepancies, analyzing root causes, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The Inventory Analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams to meet company, departmental, and customer requirements with accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Essential Job Duties:
  • Cycle Counting - Perform scheduled cycle counts for all materials stored within the OFC building.
  • Discrepancy Reporting - Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or variances found during cycle counts or physical counts.
  • Root Cause Analysis - Analyze inventory discrepancies and conduct root cause investigations to prevent recurrence.
  • KPI Tracking - Track, maintain, and report key performance indicators (KPIs), including inventory accuracy and related metrics.
  • Inventory Integrity - Ensure inventory accuracy across all work areas and throughout the execution of all warehouse processes.
  • Process Improvement - Recommend improvements to inventory control methods, storage practices, and material flow.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration - Partner with other PBE departments to ensure company, department, and customer expectations are met accurately and on time.
  • Additional Assignments - Complete additional tasks and assignments as directed by management.
  • Workplace Safety - Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times.
  • Compliance - Follow all Company and OSHA safety policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Required Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analysis, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in inventory control, warehouse operations, or manufacturing inventory management.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to use computer software and applications, including Excel, ERP systems, and inventory tools.
  • Analytical Ability: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Work Flexibility: Willingness and ability to work varying schedules or time intervals based on operational needs.
  • Language Requirement: All candidates must be fluent in English, with the ability to speak, read, and write at a professional level.
  • Legal Requirement: Must be a U.S. person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident) to comply with federal contracting regulations. Must be a US person as defined by ITAR.

Physical Demands:
  • Sitting and Standing: The role may require alternating between sitting and standing throughout the day.
  • Walking: Frequent walking to different areas within the warehouse or office.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Occasionally lifting and carrying items, typically up to 25 pounds.
