A+S is seeking an experienced CAD Specialist to join our Chicago team. The CAD Specialist will complete production work and collaborate with project teams. Attention to detail and speed are equally important and an understanding of general construction is a plus. There is potential for growth into designer roles.

Responsibilities

  • Follow and promote company's Revit and AutoCAD design standards and protocols.
  • Set up projects and create objects and families.
  • Complete markups for all three MEP disciplines
  • Translate less specific design direction into functional documents.
  • Flag coordination issues between disciplines.
  • Help evolve company AutoCAD/Revit standards in coordination with other offices.
  • Work well with others to manage the production process.

Requirements

  • Relevant technical degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of work experience using AutoCAD and Revit (preferably for MEP)
